I have been in the US of A for a year now. Away from my mom, dad and friends.
I miss all of them but like I always say, life is a compromise.

I have tried to sum up the achievement for the past year

1) The biggest of them is the fact that I made $ 21,000 USD as savings.
2) Another $ 8,000 USD in terms of car, and other accessories.
3) Used HP N series Servers and Hp-UX, thats one more Unix flavor now I am familiar with. Others include ( GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris, OpenVMS, QNX, Digital Unix)
4) Using the savings money paid off for my house in India. I am so glad I was able to give money to my parents instead of taking from them :)
5) Traveled to Chicago, Mt Rushmore, Detroit ( Auto City ), St. Louis
6) Worked to really senior people in the IT industry, some having lot more years of experience than my own age.
7) Handled two important projects, one dealing with getting DNC compliance and other a product for a security company.
8) Started exercising, honest attempt.
9) Made one enemy, and a few friends.
10) Still managed to stay away from alcohol.

If I remember more will update.

Last saturday I happen to watch the movie( Commentary / Documentary ) Fahrenheit 9/11.
it was a really nice movie, very intense. You can have fun at bush's expense.

The movie makes you really feel nice that you are not a american.

Michael Moore's has gone to really great length to expose bush's corrupt system and war on iraq was all for his personal benefit.

My recommendations to everybody to watch this movie.
